Dzolomari is a pagan tradition in the village of Begniste (Republic of Macedonia). The villagers every year in scary masks chase away evil spirits with aggressive dancing and noise. As part of the ritual, the men also engage in a symbolic sexual act with a "bride" who symbolizes fertility and the new year. This pagan ritual leaves no one indifferent.
